Individual the US Geography Hunt

It is time to have a closer look at the parts that make up the country - the states and cultural regions. Here are the individual tasks to complete.

To complete the activities, use the links provided at http://american-studies.narod.ru/geohunt.html or the sources you will find yourself.
If you'd like to search for pictures for your report, please, use a search engine [Google, Yahoo!].

Choose a state in one of the cultural regions and describe it in terms of key facts, geographic landmarks, climate, flora, and fauna.

You may come up with a scrapbook of pictures to help you tell about the state.

Take the cultural region your state belongs to and describe it in the same way as you did with the state.

While digging into the region think what makes the region stand out from the other ones. Perhaps it is not going to be easy as you may not know what the other regions are like. But after listening to the groupmates' reports you will be able to do that.
